Milestone sessions at Summer Elizabeth Photography in Phoenix, Arizona are a beautiful way to document your baby’s growth and development during their first year—and beyond. From tiny newborn expressions to sitting, standing, and celebrating birthdays, these sessions preserve the priceless stages that pass by far too quickly.
It’s truly amazing how much little ones change in such a short time, and milestone sessions give you the perfect opportunity to freeze these moments into timeless memories you’ll cherish forever.
We also offer sessions for older babies and children (3 months–12 years) upon request, as well as fun and customized cake smash sessions to celebrate your baby’s first birthday.
Each session is thoughtfully designed to be relaxed and efficient—typically lasting about an hour or less. This allows us to capture a variety of beautiful portraits while keeping your baby comfortable, happy, and engaged. Because little ones can be unpredictable, we work quickly and gently to ensure we capture the best moments with minimal stress.

- Pre-session consultation with planning and styling guidance
- Up to 60-minute studio photography session
- Ages 3 months – 12 years
- Baby or child-only portraits (family and sibling images available as an add-on service upon request)
- 10 professionally hand-edited, high-resolution digital images
- Online viewing gallery to select your favorite images
- Download and print release included
Add-On Options:
- Parent + child portraits – $50 session fee

- Extra Digital Files and Prints and custom Products : If you wish to have more images, additional digital files are available for purchase as well as a high-quality prints and products, which can be purchased separately.

Book early—especially around milestone birthdays. Popular months fill up quickly. We recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance for first birthday sessions.

That’s completely normal. We pause, soothe, feed, or take a short break as needed. Our goal is a relaxed session and natural smiles, not to push beyond the baby’s comfort.
