Megan, Baby Mckenzie's mom, wanted to have both Maternity & Newborn Photos so that she could look back at these images and cherish this special time forever!

💖Knowing that this was going to most likely be my only pregnancy, I wanted to be sure to capture all the special moments prior to and after Mackenzie’s birth. ❤❤

I met Megan and her husband few months ago. They reach out to me for Maternity and Newborn sessions and they book " Belly to Baby Photography Sessions" with me.

When I hear her story, mentioned that this pregnancy was going to mostly likely be her first and last one, I felt it so deep in my heart as a mother.

This Maternity and Newborn Sessions are very specials for her and her family and I wanted to do the best I can for them, so that they could look back at these photos and cherish this special time forever 💖

I usually photography maternity sessions between 30-37 weeks to make sure mamas have a nice round pretty belly but not too far where you start to feel swollen and uncomfortable.

Megan said "We did a beautiful sunset photo shoot on the Salt River with Summer and the pictures turned out stunning. While it can be hard to feel beautiful while pregnant with every part of your body changing, Summer was able to do so and captured those beautiful moments for us to cherish forever. " 💖

When clients come in for their newborn session, I have everything set out and planned according to their questionnaire they fill out prior to their session. I love all the looks that we did for her session.

FYI- It is always best to always booking newborn sessions a month or two out , so if you are expecting there is no “too soon” time to book a newborn session for your precious baby!

Said Megan, "While 2020 was a tough year for many reasons, it was also the year that I learned I was finally going to become a mom, which is something that I’ve always known in my heart I was meant to be. I am so incredibly grateful for my little girl, Mackenzie Jo. We chose her middle name after my Grandma Jo, who we lost at the beginning of 2020, and I couldn’t think of a better person for Mackenzie to be named after. My grandma was so incredibly special to me and I hope Mackenzie embodies some of my grandma’s wonderful qualities."

Megan said, "After Mackenzie was born, we also did a newborn shoot. Summer took such great, delicate care of our little girl and were able to get some truly beautiful photos of her only a week after she was born."
