Jessica contacted me after sweet baby Ava was already about 2 months in to this world.  I am so glad I had an opening because it was such a pleasure meeting this sweet family. 

I usually encourage parents to bring baby to me when they are still under two weeks,  if they want newborn style images of their sweet babies. But I know that cannot always happen. I would never turn away a client just because baby is “older”.

Most often older babies tend to be more awake and not that sleepy during the session and that can make it more challenging to get that traditional sleep curly newborn style images.  Sweet baby Ava didn't fit the mold for a 2-3 month old baby girl. She slept for a part of her session and we were able to get some darling awake AND asleep shots of her. At this age if they do sleep I can usually only get them in one prop, asleep. Moving them usually wakes them. But she let us move her! It was definitely challenging, but SO worth the patience. I mean, how you can you resist these sweet images!


 We did blush and creams for her newborn session. These colors complemented her so much.  Baby Ava did so well during her session in studio.  What a beautiful baby she is!
